Moonshine Bandits’ Blacked Out Lands in the Top 15 on
Billboard’s Country Albums Chart
Multi-City “Blacked Out Tour” Kicks Off August 5
July 28, 2015, Nashville, TN….Los Banos, California duo, Moonshine Bandits, land inside the Top 15 on Billboard’s Country Albums chart this week at #13 with Blacked Out. The Bandits kick off their “Blacked Out” multi-city Tour August 5-August 28, 2015.
The
new Backroad Records’ album, released July 17, has been garnering
positive reviews by fans and critics alike. Fans continue to embrace
Moonshine Bandits’ unique country sound as evidenced by attendance
numbers at their live shows, and a corresponding increase in social
media numbers (305,000 Facebook “Likes”).  In addition, this release
marks a 50% increase in sales from the duo’s previous album.
In celebration of the release of Blacked Out,
Moonshine Bandits’ Tex and Bird stopped by the local Walmart in Ceres,
California for an in-store appearance. The duo met with and signed
autographs for hundreds of their Shiner-Nation fans who showed up in
support on Blacked Out.
“For
more than a decade, these guys have been performing and gaining
momentum all around the U.S. and by the sound of this album, they aren’t
slowing down anytime soon. With tracks that honor the blue collar
way…it’s bound to be a hit success.” …The Music Universe
“4 out of 5 stars”….Nashville Country Club
“We are fired up that our CD made the Top #15 Billboard Country Albums Chart!
The market for all CD sales has trended downward by 30% so for our
album to trend upward is absolutely badass. This is proof that we are
going to be around for a long time and how powerful our Shiner Family
is, especially since we are charting next to artists that are on radio
and TV daily,” commented Tex. “It also proves that we don’t have to
change our style or conform to mainstream trends.  We did this without a
million-dollar marketing budget, so this is a proud day for us and the
Shiner Nation.”
“Blacked Out breaks all boundaries and crosses many genres.  The other side is the Blacked Out theme portrays our go hard party lifestyle.  We make all-American drinking anthems,” stated Bird.
