Chart-topping
new artist Mitch Goudy is, once again, engaging his ever expanding
group of devoted fans to be a part of his official lyric video to his
new single, My Girl’s Hand.
This lyric video just got released today on VEVO.
He recruited his fans, the “Goudy’s Rowdies,” to submit photos of them
with selected words written on their hand. These were used as the lyrics
in his video.
“It
was awesome to get my #Rowdies involved in another project of mine,”
says Goudy. “I have the most loyal fans and I can’t thank them enough
for all their support.”
With previous chart-topping hits, Blow These Speakers Out and Ain’t My Fault,
Goudy’s newest release is already lighting up the phone lines at
country radio. My Girl’s Hand was the #1 most streamed song on Play MPE
when it was released to radio. It was also the #3 most downloaded track
alongside artists Carrie Underwood, Montgomery Gentry and Jeff Bates.
This heartfelt country mid-tempo ballad is the latest release from
Goudy’s album, #ROWDIE, and was written solely by himself.
Following
a successful groundbreaking year in the business, Goudy recently
wrapped up a successful Country Radio Seminar with endless media and
radio interviews. He has been called “the new Brad Paisley,” “one of
country music’s bright new stars,” and most recently “the mainstream
Michael Buble.”
Hailing
from the cornfields of southeast Iowa, Mitch grew up with a sense of
pride about who he is and a strong notion of what he believes. His
interest in country music began when he first picked up a guitar after
suffering a traumatic knee injury that would forever limit his ability
to play sports. His dad bought him that first guitar, put it in his
hands and said, “Let’s see what you can do.” At that moment, Mitch found
his passion and never gave up on it. Since then, he’s been rocking
stages large and small across the country.
