Kaitlyn Jackson Releases New Country Album

Rising Country Star and Former American Idol Contestant Kaitlyn Jackson Releases New Album
Rising country star and former American Idol Contestant Kaitlyn Jackson
has released her new self-titled country album, available today on
iTunes, Amazon and other online retailers. This album is highly
anticipated by fans nationwide who witnessed the 16-year-old make it to
the final Hollywood solo rounds during 2014’s season 13 of American
Idol.
This
project, produced by Grammy-nominated Kent Wells, features 8 tracks all
co-written by Jackson. Complete with upbeat songs about having fun with
your girlfriends (“Break It Down”), staying true to yourself in the
midst of love gone wrong (“I’d Rather Be Me”), and thanking God for his
blessings no matter the size (“All The Little Things”), Kaitlyn’s album
evokes the very best of her influences, which include Carrie Underwood,
Taylor Swift and Jo Dee Messina.
“I
have always loved the sincere stories that country songs tell,” says
the Norwich, NY native who grew up singing alongside her father. “By
revealing pieces of myself in my music as a songwriter, I hope that
people will be able to connect with me as a person, as well as with my
songs.”
With
a voice and maturity well beyond her age, this brown-eyed girl next
door is no stranger to the spotlight. Aside from being a high school
honors student and class president, Kaitlyn has already opened for acts
like Cole Swindell, Kristin Bush, Joe Nichols and Bryan White and has
road-tripped to Nashville many times to write with hit songwriters like
Marty Brown (George Strait) and Sarah Majors (Trisha Yearwood).
“I’m so excited for the future and can’t wait to see where this new album takes me,” remarks Jackson.
Kaitlyn’s
infectious personality, coupled with the many years of performing under
her belt and her unparalleled determination, make it very clear that
she is well on her way to becoming one of the next leading ladies of
country music.
