Hicks won Best International Artist and Marshall Dane won Best Live Performance Award

Swedish
country artist Hicks won Best International Artist and Canadian country
artist Marshall Dane won Best Live Performance at the 2014 Independent
Country Music Association Awards.

September 29, 2014 — NASHVILLE, TN. — MTS Management Group would like to congratulate Hicks and Marshall Dane on their wins at the 2014 Independent Country Music Association (ICoMA) Awards.  The winners were announced on Saturday, September 27, 2014, during an episode of “Country Dreams,” broadcasting on Renegade Radio Nashville.
Hicks, who hails from Sweden, was named Best International Artist and
Canadian singer/songwriter, Marshall Dane was awarded Best Live
Performance, for “Alcohol Abuse.” Both artists
received 2014 nominations in three categories.  Hicks had been
previously nominated in 2013.  This is the first ICoMA Award win for
both. 
Other winners included Trailer Choir (Best Band, Group or Duo) Renegade Radio Nashville (Most Indie-Friendly Radio Station) and Jason Lee McKinney (Song of the Year.) A full list of 2014 ICoMA Award Nominees is available at www.icmanet.com.

MTS
Management Group handles publicity and promotions for both Hicks and
Marshall Dane.  Both artists released successful singles to US country
radio in 2014, with Marshall topping the New Music Weekly country charts and reaching the Top 60 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart with
“Alcohol Abuse.”  Hicks is currently charting in the NMW Top 40, as
well as the Top 101 on Music Row with “Hayride.”  Both artists are
nominated in the upcoming IMEA Awards.

The Independent Country Music Association (ICoMA) exists
to educate, evaluate, and promote indie country music. Their local
chapters create fellowship and camaraderie, as well as provide an
educational avenue for those wishing to take their career to the next
level.
