SHANIA TWAIN TOGETHER WITH TRINITY BRADSHAW IN CONCERT

CANADIAN SINGER-SONGWRITER TRINITY BRADSHAW TO
OPEN FOR SHANIA TWAIN IN CHARLOTTETOWN ON AUGUST 30

Toronto, ON – Announced today, Canadian Country singer-songwriter, Trinity Bradshaw, will be opening for multi-award winning artist, Shania Twain, at the PEI 2014 Founders Week Concert on August 30, 2014.
Taking place in Bradshaw’s home province, the show will mark the first
time Twain has performed in the Maritimes in 15 years and her first time
ever performing in Prince Edward Island. Bradshaw will be playing songs
from her new EP, Open Skies, featuring her current single, “Never Drinkin’ Again,” which is now playing at Country radio across Canada.
“I cried when I
got the news,” says Bradshaw. “The ten year old me could have only
dreamed of this – while singing every single one of Shania’s tunes on
karaoke. Shania has always been an inspiration to me and getting to open
for her is definitely a dream come true. I don’t think there’s ever
been a bigger star in PEI so I’m pretty sure the entire island will go
crazy. I am incredibly lucky and thankful to Shania, Donald K. Donald
and AEG Live for inviting me to be part of such a massive show!”
Released this past June, Bradshaw’s new EP, Open Skies
demonstrates her evolution as a songwriter and is the next step in her
career following her 2013 self-titled debut. Produced by fellow
Canadians Russ Broom (Jann Arden) and Trey Mills (Melanie Fiona,
X-Quisite, Canadian Brass) the release was recorded at Blackbird Studios
in Nashville with all-star session players Chad Cromwell (Neil Young,
Emmylou Harris, Taylor Swift), Tim Marks (Taylor Swift, Jewel) and Russ
Pahl (Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Eric Church).
Earlier this year, Bradshaw was nominated for Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year at the Alberta Country Music Awards, where she also performed at the awards gala. Additionally, she was named CMT Canada’s Fresh Face Featured Artist
for the month of March. Currently based out of Alberta, Bradshaw got
her start in music at a young age when she was crowned the youngest
winner ever of the 2004 Summerside Festival Talent Search at age 14,
leading to back-to-back East Coast Music Awards performances in 2005 and
2006. From there, she continued to gain recognition, winning Sugar
Crisp’s The First 15 songwriting contest in 2011, the 2013 Amp Radio
Rock Star competition and the March 2013 title of SOCAN Artist of the Month.
Bradshaw will also be performing dates in Alberta and Ontario this summer, including a show at Bowmanville’s Boots & Hearts Music Festival as part of the SiriusXM Emerging Artist Showcase on August 2.
