Briney has been nominated for three 2014 Artists Music Guild Heritage
Awards: Male Vocalist Of the Year, Album Of the Year, and Song Of the
Year. The November awards ceremony will be held in Monroe, NC.
July 21, 2014 – NASHVILLE, TN —MTS Management Group is happy to announce Doug Briney has received three 2014 Artists Music Guild Heritage Awards Nominations. Briney has been nominated for Male Vocalist of the Year, Album of the Year (Super Country Cowboy)
and Song of the Year “Unknown Soldier.” The awards ceremony will be
held on November 15, 2014, at the AG Convention Center in Monroe, NC. A
live broadcast of the event is also being planned. Past winners
include Stella Parton, Chubby Checker, Barbara
Mandrell and Terri Gibbs.

Doug
Briney is a Country Music Association member artist, based in
Nashville, Tennessee. He is a 2013 Independent Country Music
Association Award Winner, a 2014 ICoMA Award Nominee, a 2014 Nashville
Universe Award nominee, and a 2014 Artists In Music Award nominee. A
staunch military supporter, Doug is a Heart Songs For Veterans artist.
He is also donating his profits from the sale of his current single,
“Unknown Soldier” to Operation Troop Aid.
