(NASHVILLE,
TN) July 17, 2014 — Allyson Ahlstrom, 19, of Santa Rosa California
hits Nashville, TN with her mobile boutique and non-profit organization,
Threads for Teens® on Monday, July 21st. Allyson is on a
summer tour of fourteen cities across the United States. “Threads for
Teens® on Tour” will outfit some 1,000 underprivileged girls, each in a
brand-new outfit, from a pink-clad semi truck set up as a chic mobile
boutique. The mobile boutique will be open from 10 AM-1 PM at Hotel
Indigo.

Winner from Season 4 of The Voice and Big Machine recording
artist, Danielle Bradbery will be assisting in outfitting the girls
along with Capitol Nashville recording artist Mickey Guyton, WSIX find
artist Cam, and rising singer-songwriters Sara Haze and Brooke Eden.

At each stop deserving girls will receive brand-new clothing. In
addition to serving girls, the Threads for Teens® mobile boutique
invites community members to visit to learn more about the organization
and how girl empowerment is important to teenage girls in our culture.

In 2010, at the age of 14 Allyson decided that she would try to make a
difference by making new, fashionable clothing available to girls in
foster care or other situations of poverty. Her project has inspired
more than $100,000 in monetary contributions and over $150,000 in
clothing donations that include more than 40 national brands, such as
Claire’s, Pastry Shoes, and Wildfox Couture. Furthermore, through a
partnership with The Hunt (The Hunt on the app store and
www.thehunt.com/threadsforteens) anyone can help to raise up to $15,000
for Threads for Teens by solving hunts on their website, for free!

Allyson has just completed her freshman year at the University of
Pennsylvania.  Her full-service clothing boutique in Santa Rosa, CA (90
minutes north of San Francisco) has allowed over 600 girls in need to
each pick out two brand-new outfits for free over the past four years
and the Threads for Teens Summer Tour 2013 gave clothing to 1000
additional girls. Her Threads for Teens® nonprofit also has also
provided 130 girls with backpacks filled with school supplies, and has
given out over 100 prom dresses.

In May 2013 at a ceremony in Washington, D.C., actor Kevin Spacey and
Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix lauded Allyson Ahlstrom as one of
the 10 top teen volunteers in America. She has also been honored with a
2012 HALO award from Nickelodeon and a 2011 Jefferson Award for Public
Service. “I want to make Threads for Teens® available to as many girls
as possible.  That’s one of the reasons for the road trip,” says
Allyson.  “More than that, I’m hoping to inspire others to volunteer and
contribute in their own way. Anyone can make a difference!”

The tour will kick off July 14th in Los Angeles, CA and will conclude on July 29th in Boston, MA.
