Forest
City, Iowa (May 26, 2014) – As the inaugural Tree Town Music Festival
comes to a close in Forest City, Iowa, festival organizers are already

kicked off the weekend earlier than previously announced so he could join President Obama in a surprise trip to Afghanistan
to perform for the troops at Bagram Air Field. Following Brad’s
performance, a special message played on the jumbotron with country
megastar and judge on NBC’s The Voice Blake Shelton announcing
himself as the headliner for the second annual Tree Town Music Festival
Memorial Day weekend 2015 (watch the video here). Stay tuned for even more exciting artist announcements in the coming months!

“The festival was a huge success,” said Gary DeWaard, Tree Town’s
founder and general manager. “We plan on keeping this weekend’s momentum
going into 2015 and beyond. It’s an amazing opportunity to not only
provide the highest quality entertainment and camping, but to also
attract thousands of people to the area, which in turn helps to support
the local economy.”
