After
recently named by CMA as one of the Who New To Watch Artists for 2014,
country music’s newest small-town singer/songwriter Mitch Goudy, recently became one of the newest members of the Country Music Association (CMA).
While in the midst of a full-fledge radio tour to promote his debut single, Blow These Speakers Out,
Mitch made a visit to Nashville to stop at the CMA office to officially
join many other artists and industry professionals who support the
Country Music Association.
“Walking
into the CMA office was so exciting,” smiles Mitch. “I grew up
listening to country music and to just think I am now in the same
country organization as them is beyond words. Thank you CMA for such a
great welcome and for the recent honor as one of your artists to watch
for this year!” You can read more about his visit to CMA at

Mitch
recently wrapped up a busy week last week participating in Country
Radio Seminar (CRS), networking and participating in endless interviews
with media and radio. Blow These Speakers Out, which is off his current Third Floor Records project, WILD,
includes 13 tracks that all accentuate Mitch’s personality and
authentic country vocals. Hailing from the cornfields of southeast Iowa,
Mitch grew up with a sense of pride about who he is and a strong notion
of what he believes. His interest in country music began when he first
picked up a guitar after suffering a traumatic knee injury that would
forever limit his ability to play sports. His dad bought him that first
guitar, put it in his hands and said, “Let’s see what you can do.” At
that moment, Mitch found his passion and never gave up on it. Since
then, this nineteen year old has been rocking stages large and small
across the country. He’s become a regular at saloons and clubs, wows
crowds at state and county fairs alike, and has even opened for top acts
around the country including Joe Nichols and The Oak Ridge Boys. His
album is available on iTunes, CD Baby and Amazon.
