Nashville’s New Year’s Eve “Bash on Broadway” Offers Multiple
Days of Events, Free Music and Midnight “Music Note Drop®”
Hank Williams Jr. to headline the event on the 60th anniversary of his legendary father’s death
Nashville, Tenn. – Nashville will ring in the New Year with multiple days of free music,
fireworks and a midnight
Music Note Drop®”. Start the celebration on Monday, Dec. 30
with a Music City Bowl pre-game performance by Nashville vocalist
Jason Eskridge and a post-game performance by Country trio The Shuggah Pies. Both concerts take place at the New Year’s Eve stage on Lower Broadway near 1st Avenue. On Dec. 31,
Music City’s fifth annual
New Year’s Eve “Bash on Broadway” will feature performances

“This
year is going to be very special on New Year’s Eve,” says Hank Williams
Jr. “December 31st will mark the 60th anniversary of daddy’s death.
For years, I have not performed on New Year’s Eve in honor of my
father, but this year is a monumental year in the history of Hank
Williams. If daddy would have lived, he would have been 90 years old
this year. I hope Music City is ready to boogie woogie,
because Bocephus is going to bring the party to Nashville.”
The
show, which is free to the public, will take place on Lower Broadway
between 1st and 5th avenues beginning at 7 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
