NASHVILLE, TN – (September 25, 2012) – Carnival Music’s singer-songwriter
Brent Cobb
has quickly become known as one of Nashville’s most promising
tunesmiths with his songs recorded by the likes of Luke Bryan, Little
Big Town, David Nail, Kellie Pickler and the Eli Young Band. Now with
the release of his self-titled EP
today, September 25
to select digital retailers and debut single “Love On Me” to country
radio airwaves this month, Cobb is turning the tables and bringing
country music fans his first recording as an artist.
Co-written by Cobb and Jason Saenz, “Love On Me” is a tongue-in-cheek, up-tempo song that portrays the casual fun of flirting.
“We
wrote this song based on how I flirt,” shares Cobb. “In bars, I would
say, ‘I’m about half drunk, but you look so good to me.’ It was just
hokey and charming, I guess. We just wanted to capture that real
moment.”
“Love On Me” is featured on Cobb’s self-titled EP, produced by
Carnival’s Matthew Miller and Oran Thornton. The EP is a five
song-collection that captures the Ellaville, Georgia native’s gripping,
passionate vocal style and rhythmic melodies.
Currently, Cobb is
out on the road visiting radio and playing shows nationwide in support
of the new single with upcoming dates in Nashville, TN (9/25), Athens,
Georgia (9/27) and Cordele, GA (9/28).
