Jesse Rice’s The Pirate Sessions Offers Hidden Treasure for Fans

The
Pirate Sessions, a project anchored by Jesse Rice, provides a
“booty-ful” package of music and prizes for fans.  Released earlier this
year via Artist Revolution and sailing into the Top 20 on iTunes
Country charts, the album not only features music written and performed
by Jesse Rice with special musical guests including Billboard featured indie artist, Chase Rice, but also features a hidden contest that will end September 1st!

“Pirates
were tricky bas#$%^*!” smirks Jesse.  “They hid and protected their
treasures with cryptic maps and riddles.  There just might be a pirate’s
booty waiting for you if you know where to look.”

The
grand prize package includes two round trip tickets and a five night
stay at Cinnamon Bay, St. John, US Virgin Islands, a private chef and
concert.  Leave it to a “pirate” to completely reinvent CD packaging!
All contest rules and submission requirements can be found at www.thepiratesessions.com.  One can also follow at www.facebook.com/thepiratesessions
for clues.  The first correct answer on the location of the “treasure”
found within the graphic design of the CD’s insert will win the trip and
be notified on Tuesday, September 4th.  Fans submitting the
correct answer will also have a chance to win additional prizes, video
shout outs on Facebook and Twitter and access to a closed USTREAM
session with the Captain himself, Jesse Rice.

“We
really wanted to engage fans and find an interactive way to get
listeners connected to our concept and the artists involved,” says Sam
Brooker, founder of Artist Revolution.  “This contest and packaging
design was conceived by me and Jesse and made into a reality by
Arketype, our ‘go to’ design team.  It definitely went through several
changes before we surfaced with the elements you see today. I look
forward to seeing the final results.”

About Jesse Rice
South
Carolina native, Jesse Rice, moved to Music City in 2002 and has since
honed his songwriting and production skills with several of Nashville’s
hottest new talent.  Rice landed a publishing deal with Artist
Revolution, a company founded by “Sam and Ruby” tunesmith Sam Brooker.
He has also co-written and co-produced EPs on Billboard charting indie
artist Chase Rice and Florida Georgia Line. FGL was recently signed to
Republic Nashville and debuted with a single co-written by Jesse called
“Cruise” which is currently climbing the country charts.  The Pirates Sessions
was a project that developed when Jesse teamed up with FGL’s Brian
Kelley and Tyler Hubbard and started writing a series of songs where the
title was “pirated” from a line in the song that was written before
it.  “This was such a unique idea and the results are what sit before
you on this record,” says Jesse.

Let
the music of The Pirate Sessions take you away to a different time and
place…and you could be setting sail to the sandy shores of Cinnamon
Bay.
