Up, and coming country artist, Matt Bailie, received the shock of a lifetime when he was chosen one of four finalists in the The OurStage Panel web series, created by OurStage.com, the premier destination for indie music discovery. The OurStage Panel chooses artist that rank highly amongst the OurStage charts to be reviewed by influential music industry executives. The OurStage Panel narrowed 16 artists down to four finalists to perform live for the series finale. Indie artists of all musical genres entered for this career changing opportunity to win $5000; a professionally produced EPK and a mentoring session with
industry experts.
On November 29, 2011, the four finalists flew to NYC to perform live for five top music industry executive panelists. OurStage.com panel of judges for the coveted prize were industry notables, Jason Lenner, Manager, Hot Chelle Rae; Lee Dannay, VP of A&R at Warner/Chappell Music; Sharon Dastur, PD at New York’s Z100; Bruce Tyler, Executive Producer, Entertainment Consultant and former EVP Sony Music, and five-time GRAMMY winning music producer, Steve Lillywhite.
The competition was filmed before a full house at the trendy New York City Tribeca neighborhood’s Canal Room and, will air on, OurStage.com on December 15th at 5 PM EST at http://panel.ourstage.com. Site visitors will be able to stream the full competition viewing Bailie’s winning performance, in addition to performances by finalists R&B singer, Britni Elise, Austin Renfroe, and Atlanta based band, The Well Reds. Bailie performed his current country radio single; “Everyday You,” a song available on CDX Volume 533, being promoted to country radio by Nashville promotion company, GrassRoots. Bailie completed the filming of a video supporting the single, available after the first of the year.
