The Railroad, which boasts a 100

Murphey, who has been part of the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad summer concert series for five years, visited with guests aboard the train and later performed some of his hit songs with his Rio Grande Band, featuring guitar wizard Pat Flynn.

A true genre – busting artist, Murphey topped the pop charts with hits “Wildfire” and “Carolina In The Pines,” and country charts with hits like “Long Line of Love,” “What’s Forever For” and “I’m Gonna Miss You Girl.”  He is the top-selling singer-songwriter of American Cowboy Music, and his 2009 release, Buckaroo Blue Grass, earned him a Grammy nomination for Best Bluegrass Album.
