NASHVILLE, TENN (April 7, 2011) – Lynchburg, VA native Phil Vassar is returning to his hometown of Lynchburg, VA today, April 7, 2011 to play a third annual benefit concert for The Miller Home For Girls at the E.C. Glass High School Auditorium at 7:30 PM.  Phil is being joined by his friends and fellow country artists Little Big Town.  For tickets or for more information, please contact The Miller Home at (434) 845-0241.
 
Phil and Little Big Town are giving 100% of the proceeds from the show to The Miller Home, a safe haven for young girls ages four through eighteen, and are encouraging everyone to join them in supporting this wonderful institution in Lynchburg.  The Miller Home survives solely on private funding and ticket purchases will not only benefit the girls of The Miller Home but will provide an energetic and captivating performance by Lynchburg’s own hometown star, Phil Vassar and his friends Little Big Town.
 
About Phil Vassar
This Virginia-born singer/songwriter has made his mark in Nashville as an acclaimed performer and musician. The Miller Home was established in 1875. The purpose of the Miller Home is provide short term or long term care and guidance to non-delinquent girls, ages four through eighteen, who cannot live with their own families. Miller Home endeavors to provide care and guidance within a non-institutional, supportive environment which encourages each girl to grow and develop to her highest potential. It is the goal of the Miller Home to assist these girls in directing their lives that they may become caring, productive adults.
